A Black Gold Member (BGM) is the eyes and ears of the BG Nation in a given city. Their role is vitally important to everything the Nation does as they are not only familiar with the culture of the city, but they're also closer to the community we're trying to partner with. A BGM is the Nation's representative in that particular city so they will be the first point of contact to all Nation business and activity.

While the responsibilities of a BGM are multiple, the following are a few of the most important. And don't worry, you have the option of doing one, two or all of the following. The choice is yours.

1. Leadership Identification & Development

 The 1st Black Gold Leadership Election takes place on June 24th-26th, 2022. We'll need candidates to elect. As a BGM, we'll need your awareness of community/business leaders who would be good candidates for office.

2. Local Business Identification & Development

The foundation of everything we seek to accomplish will be built upon solid business investments and strategic partnerships. Your role as a BGM in your respective city is critical to use finding these currently up and running business owners/leaders.

3. Fundraising/Investment Partnerships

We need contributing members who are committed to helping us move forward in your respective city and around the nation. As a BGM, we'll need you to help us find these new members/investment partners.

4. Community/City Vital Needs Assessment

As the Nation makes its way from city to city to find prospective leadership, identify potential business partners and locate new members, we'll also be looking to invest in these communities/cities in an effort to revitalize, seize upon and/or take control of certain areas in an effort to move the Nation forward. As all communities and cities are different, the needs of a given community/city are different. As the BGM of a given city, we'll need your vital needs assessment to determine what's needed.

5. Volunteer/Membership Activity Organization

As the Nation grows, we hope to have more and more people volunteering to assist in that growth. Someone will have to organized these volunteers to ensure everyone's valuable time is properly utilized and not wasted. From phone banking to local business canvasing to Black Gold Communiversity assistance, we'll need volunteers to make this happen.

6. Black Gold Communiversity Organizer

A grassroots effort to educate the community, by the community, on the glories of our history in this country and current events/affairs. Utilizing documentary films, historically accurate movies and current events/affairs, we want to educate, motivate and activate.
