National Youth Education & Development Division Director - Jeff Drummer is the founder of the (ULA) United Leadership Alliance, and he's fully committed to the liberation revolution both internally, and externally. 95% of my focus is invested in
our internal agenda. 5% focuses on what our external threats are doing. I figure, if we wake the people up, then we can get something done. I aim to shake up the world.
Jeffrey Drummer, the President of the United Leadership Alliance of Houston, Texas, has lived with a burning in his soul for the advancement of his community since childhood, similar to that of the honorable Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He believes that he was made for this moment and that the ULA has been called for such a time as this. He envisions the African American community being among the most prosperous in the world. He feels that his life’s experiences have thoroughly prepared him to lead our community into a prosperous 21st Century. His love for God, his passion for people, and his hatred for injustice has culminated into a raging inferno in his spirit that he can no longer contain. Like Noah in the bible, God has given Mr. Drummer a charge to restore our community through our men, women, and children with 21st Century solutions that are godly-scientific and guaranteed to succeed.
Mr. Drummer, a Texas Southern University graduate in education, was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and has over twenty years of exceptional teaching and coaching experience. His training expertise has resulted in numerous academic and athletic award-winners, scholarships, college graduates, and professional athletes.
He also has more than thirty-five years of activism which includes being the President of the One Hundred Black Men of Palm Beach County and he has service experience with the NAACP, the Black United Front, the National Urban League, the Anti-Defamation League and Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
An avid athlete, Mr. Drummer is a former college football player whose sports career includes several prestigious awards such as being elected to the Sports Illustrated College All-American Academic Team, Athlete of the Year, and the Most Valuable Player. He has also lettered in baseball and wrestling as well. Mr. Drummer passionately expressed that “athletics and sports-specific activities are extremely important to our people and we should never minimize their worth. Sadly, he was under nurtured as a child and believes that athletics saved his life by giving him something to love and strive for. Narrowly escaping the same fate, I witnessed several of my best friends arrested and confined in the federal penitentiary for life with no chance of parole simply because they had nothing to live for. This societal neglect has inclined me to be wise enough to utilize one’s values to lead them to success. Sadly, as talented as my friends were, without the love, care, and guidance they deserved, society has still labeled them beast! For this cause and other injustices, I have decided to lay down my life and I wholeheartedly believe that like-minded people will join me and we will immobilize millions to prosper as well. By empowering people to help themselves, together we will change the world!
Mr. Drummer is the father of two lovely twin daughter’s Leondra and Treondra Swails and four awesome sons, Markee and triplets, Quincy, Wesley and Xavier Drummer.

National Cultural Affairs & Diplomacy Division Director - Norma J. Thomas is an Arts Entrepreneur, Performing Artist, and 39 year veteran of Arts Education. Writer, producer, director of primarily theatre and video, Norma's mission, through French
Creole Productions, has been, for over thirty years, to present diverse images, themes, and stories from the Black experience and perspective … to make quality Arts experiences, relevant, uplifting, and accessible to the community … to nurture, train, and develop the next generation of conscious artists.
Norma determined many years ago, while working as a stage and film actress, that if she were to have the career she desired, represent Black women and the community in a manner worthy of her gifts, she would have to create it herself, non- conventionally. Her focus turned to community and school based programming in the Arts, writing and producing a slate of original works, producing theatre, short films, and videos, and laying the groundwork for NT Studios & Conservatory. NT Studios & Conservatory is the premiere performing & visual arts create space and educational center in Houston's historic, North side community of Acres Homes. Award-winning director, playwright and screenwriter, Norma is the self-published author of The Smell of Garlic on Sunday, a memoir, and the children’s series, Bibi’s Girls. She is affiliated with the Texas Educational Theatre Association and Texas Adjudicators & Officials Organization, co-founder of the Black Theatre Educators’ Caucus, Board Member for The Partnership for School Improvement and People’s Outreach Ministries- Haitian Relief, and a member of The Shrines of the Black Madonna where she received the name Raawiya M. Obike. Raawiya resides in her hometown of Houston, Tx. with partner of 30 years, Mayasa Obike, enjoying very close relationships with daughter, Ishaaqa, and granddaughters, Kamiliyah Mahira and Leelah Imani-Afua. She is quoted as saying,
“The Sciences create thinkers; the Social Studies create citizens; the Arts create human beings.”
National Agribusiness & Food Systems Economics Department Director AND National Infrastructure & Development Division Director - Mr. Junior is a Founder and General Manager of SEMPA. The organization was established to assist small
rural African American/Underserved producers outside of Detroit in collaborating to build their capacities and provide fresh produce in the food insecure areas in the City.
The group began with seven (7) farmers, with the potential of incorporating 25 farms with over 1,000 acres in the Detroit region. SEMPA coordinates training, marketing, and processes necessary to develop a local food system.
As the Economic Development Official in Royal Oak Charter Township, Michigan, Cary has championed issues to empower the most vulnerable population and founded the Royal Town Farmer’s Market to promote healthy eating and entrepreneurship through vending. Through these efforts he investigated produce sources for the farmer’s market and discovered the needs of the rural farmers. This led his desire to serve as a Food Hub Consultant with the Michigan State University (MSU) Center for Regional Food Systems to research the development of food hubs throughout the state. In addition, he serves as Council member of the Michigan Food and Farming Systems (MIFFS) – an organization established to support underserved farmers in Michigan.
Cary has been actively promoting SEMPA’s efforts around the country through presentations at food and farming conferences. His objective is to bring awareness to the obtaining food sovereignty to our most vulnerable populations with local food systems. He holds degrees from Morehouse College (BS), The University of Michigan (MSE), and Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business (Exec Ed).
