• Jailhouse lawyer during pre-trial phase, throughout three (3) different counties, as well as during my time at the Holliday Unit. After working on 450+ cases and causing a positive impact and outcome in roughly 20% of them, I returned to Austin, Texas

• Created the mutual aid collective WorkingGroup512. WG512 has operated a pandemic-proof food access program over 17 months, saving over 1 million pounds of food waste and contributing over 100k items to Austin communities in-need. In the data-driven and results-based work around the family structure of directly-impacted people, WorkingGroup512 has been awarded eight (8) grants of nine (9) applications in eighteen (18) months.

• I was successfully discharged from Parole on April 26, 2021. I’ve led the Group effort in communications, social media and web activity, donor management, fundraising, grant writing, and program operations.

• Lead organizer and administrator for a multicultural community collective specialized in grassroots work to amplify the needs, voices, and experiences of those directly impacted and seeking justice thereof;

• Successfully operating a full-scale, food access and delivery program that serves hundreds in the Austin-area, across twenty (20) counties

• Obtained six (6) consecutive grants to fund humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, social work efforts

• Indigent Defense 2021 Fellow and community organizer for a Houston nonprofit focused on economic empowerment, criminal justice and legislative policy reform

• Operated a data project with the City of Austin in re-integration services for formerly incarcerated people

• Successfully organized over 200 Houston residents against housing, employment, legal, and healthcare injustices
